Woodshed heads on AMAs with Jay-Z, MJB

Hip-hop legends Mary J. Blige and Jay-Z performed live on the 2009 American Music Awards with Woodshed head art. Mary J. performed her newest single "I Am" and featured Woodshed player Rex Hardy; Jay-Z's performance included a duet with Alicia Keys (Tony Royster, Jr. on drums). Both artists are using Woodshed drumhead logo art for their arena tours. In all, Woodshed head art has been seen on stage with nominees in six separate categories at this year's AMAs.

Sean's incredible live band is driven by Cleveland-native James Agnew. James was a semi-finalist drummer on Diddy's "Making His Band" MTV reality show and is also a talented hip-hop producer. Sean Kingston is currently on a North American headlining tour in support of his latest release "Tomorrow". James' newest custom Woodshed drum head made its debut at a recent sold-out NYC date.

The rhythmic backbone of his live band is the great TONY ROYSTER, JR., a notable 25-year-old drummer with three drum instruction DVDs to his credit, along with a Guitar Center Drum-Off win at age 11.
