About Tom Hoey

Tom Hoey is an unsung hero in the Nashville music scene, though his career has taken him throughout the US and Canada performing in clubs, opera houses, concert halls, amphitheaters, and arenas. The busy veteran has performed or recorded with numerous artists, including Josh Turner, Trace Atkins, Clint Black, Jessica Andrews, Billy Gilman, Blue County, Jessica Sierra (American Idol)...the list goes on and on. Tom has made several major-network TV appearances, as well as various performances for CMT and GAC Television.

Tom Hoey's time with Ed Soph at the prestigious University of North Texas has taught him to work hard and be prepared for anything. The soft-spoken Philadelphia transplant often gets the last-minute call to substitute in a wide-variety of genres and situations (he's done so for Olivia Newton John, Linda Davis and Richard Marx, just to name a few). This versatile drummer is no stranger to the "pit", performing for several award-winning musicals like Grease (feat. Frankie Avaoln) and Oklahoma (50th Anneversary Tour).
